February Book Club Selection

Get ready for next month’s book discussion by picking up the latest selection, THE HIRED MAN, by Aminatta Forna, at the library.  As always, we have many copies available. February’s meeting will be Tuesday, the 24th, at 6 pm.

Library Joins Christmas Walk Festivities

Don’t forget to stop by Schmaling Memorial Library during the CHRISTMAS WALK December 5th!
We will be having an open house from 5-7pm where you can warm up plus we can show off all the new flooring and the downstairs makeover!

Stop in again Saturday, the 6th, for a CHILDREN’S STORY READING at 10:30, and then an open CRAFT time from 11 – 12:30.

Teddy Bear Tuesdays

IMG_teddybeartues9-1[1] Beginning September 2nd and running through April, the Children’s Department invites all children preschool aged through second grade to attend a story time led by our very own Miss Gwenn.

This event is anticipated to happen every Tuesday the library is open, from 6 to 6:30 pm.  It is also kindly expected that all children be accompanied to this event.  Go to HAPPENINGS located on the top menu to check exact dates and times.

So wear pajamas, bring a favorite stuffed animal, and then enjoy the story, make a craft, and scarf a snack!
