This summer let Reading Take you Everywhere @ Schmaling. Registration for the children’s (preschool-5th grade), young adult (6th-12th grade), and adult summer reading program runs through Saturday, June 9. Join the River Bend Readers Book Discussion group as they discourse about the book H is for Hawk, by Helen Macdonald. The book recounts the author’s time spent devoted to adopting, raising, and training a goshawk following the devastating loss of her beloved father. It was also one of the New York Times Book Review’s 10 Best Books of the Year for 2015.
