Dig Deeper: Read, Investigate, Discover
Calling all readers! It’s time to register for the Schmaling Summer Reading Program!!!! Due to the pandemic, we’re trying something new this year. We’re doing an online program using a product called ReadSquared! We are super excited to be using this new program and we hope you’ll like it! If you do not have internet access, you can still register for the program and use paper reading slips. Please call the library at 815-589-2045 to register for the paper program.

Participants without a valid Schmaling Library card are only eligible for the digital badges and certificate in the online program. To be eligible for physical prizes and entry in the weekly and grand prize drawings, participants must have a valid Schmaling Library Card (or a parent of a child participant must have a valid card). Parents of River Bend Students with non-resident student cards are not eligible to participate in the adult reading program unless they have their own non-resident card in their own name.
