Jon Baird, Kevin Costner, and Rick Ross (illustrator) collaborated on this unique throwback of a novel called The Explorers Guild: Volume One.  Part graphic novel, part multi-character narrative, part globe-trekking adventure story, and just cool to see and handle; this 784 page World War I era mystery quest seems worth perusing.
