After registering your child(ren), you may pick up reading slips anytime at the library. Make sure you choose the appropriate slip according to the grade level the child will be entering this upcoming fall. Each age group has a different reading-time expectation. Preschoolers through 1st graders record the time someone reads to them.

Completed and signed slips can be turned into the library anytime from June 2nd – 27th: please do not place them in the dropbox, though!

Prizes

1st slip: Pick a prize from the Treasure Chest

2nd slip: Dairy Queen or Taco Bell coupon

3rd slip: Star-shaped Sunglasses

4th slip: Neon Maracas or Musical Instrument Key Chain

5th slip: Read to the Rhythm Book Tote, plus one entry into the Grand Prize drawing

6th + slip: 1 entry in the Grand Prize drawing for each additional slip

Prizes shall be awarded upon reception of slips during open hours. The Grand Prize this year is $50 and the drawing will be held during the week of June 29th. You do not have to be present to win: we will gladly call the lucky winner!
